Like an Island

“No man is an island”

But why I am left behind?

Somehow I’m still human.

Why I don’t feel like one?

Sometimes I asked myself with the same old questions;

What did I do to suffer this situation?

Am I born to suffer this hurting sensation?

Why did I always have to experience love-starvation?

Isn’t it enough that I love them?

Or all I did is not just enough for them?

I know I’m not perfect to do all,

But I’m human with a will and faith to hold on.

But even though I’m alone just like an island,

I don’t mine cause He is watching me all the time.

Life Is Like A Race

Life is like a race...

Which is all about dealing with what is reality,

Like a car on a race depending to it’s machinery.

Which is something that you should fight for,

Like a driver pushing his limits to have what he raced for.

Where there are only 2 options; to fail or to succeed,

Like a driver who can hit the break or increase the speed.

Which is everything that was given by God is good,

Like the road that’s being raced is smooth,

And any moment could turn to challenges

As the road becomes rough and turn to stones.

Which you can’t avoid the inevitable,

Like in every race, car crash is possible.

Which doing good makes everybody happy,

Like the audience cheering so wildly,

Whereas doing bad could hurt anyone

Like living a scratch on anybody’s car.
